Twice a year, Berg Event Space puts on an awesome open house that always has an accompanying styled shoot with some sort of dramatic theme. We have gotten to be a part of their Alice in Wonderland shoot, Glamping shoot, and now this Modern Goth shoot from this past January’s open house (and I really need to share with you the photos from these other shoots)!
This Modern Goth shoot was the last hurrah for Emily, one of the long standing venue coordinators at the Berg, before moving out to California, so we we got to mix things up a bit. It’s not often that I am buying black candles for a wedding! We loved working with Blue Bouquet, who did the floral arrangements, smoked glass candles and draping and Little Yellow Leaf put together an awesome invitation suite. M&E Photography captured all the gorgeousness in photos.
We hung two of our chandeliers on either side of the Berg’s chandelier, and Blue Bouquet hung cranberry draping on either side of the table, to create a ‘room’ within the larger space. We used our Ghost Chairs and did a custom painted table runner and custom dipped flatware for the table.
