I have to admit, when someone first said velvet tablecloth, my immediate response was a bit of a side-eye. Whuttt? VELVET TABLECLOTH? It conjured up images of Christmas, or maybe a medieval themed wedding. But then I did an image search, and I quickly realized that velvet, in the right colors, can look absolutely fabulous. It has a rich, deep texture that adds a layer of complexity to a tablescape.
We’ve started with a red velvet tablecloth (seen in the above photo by Claire Ryser of Visionaire Studios), but are looking to add more colors. What colors of velvet tablecloths should we add?
